Lafayette Square keeps its gaslamp-style streetlights burning through a snowfall, throwing soft yellow rings onto ironwork fences and the Victorian mansions lining the park. L & P Landscaping clears the private drives and front walks along those historic blocks, working early enough that the park's small pond is often still the only thing left untouched and glassy with ice.
