About Lawn Groomer's Inc

Late in the day, when the sun comes in low across a lawn, you can read every pass the mower made. Lawn Groomer's Inc mows for that light through Des Peres, Frontenac and the central county — straight lines, alternated week to week, the turf laid over so the whole yard takes on a grain. Underneath the look sits the practice: sharp blades, the right height for the month, borders cut in along drive and walk, clippings cleared off the concrete. St. Louis heat flattens a careless lawn by August, so the cut stays high and the color holds through it. Grooming really is the right word — the same job, done often, done evenly.
