About A. H Lawncare

August in St. Louis means air so thick you can almost lean on it, rising off the Mississippi and settling over the brick neighborhoods by mid-morning. A. H Lawncare starts early to beat it, cutting the compact yards and grass strips that sit between the city's red brick walls and its sidewalks. Where many lawns are narrow and fenced, careful trimming along the walk and the chain-link counts for as much as the mowing itself. Before the heat peaks and the sidewalks start to shimmer, the yard is done and the front steps are clear. Small yard, sharp edges: in St. Louis that is a point of pride on any block.
