East of Saint James the ground rises fast into red-clay ridges, and the driveways climbing them bend twice before they ever reach flat ground at the top. Snow behaves differently on a grade like that, sliding into the low cuts on either side of a lane and glazing hard on the turns, so Reliable Excavating & Grading plows uphill in short, careful passes rather than one long run.
