Rafi's Lawn Service

About Rafi's Lawn Service

July in St. Francois County gets hot enough that the pale sand flats out at St. Joe State Park shimmer by noon, which makes lawn work a morning trade. Rafi's Lawn Service is out early — mowing, string trimming around trees and mailboxes, edging the walks, blowing the drive down before the day turns heavy. In heat like that the deck goes up rather than down, so the roots keep their shade, and that is the whole difference between a lawn that browns out and one that holds. These yards take the sun straight on and still come back green after every good rain. Early hours, steady weeks, grass worth looking at from the porch.
