About KH Dirt Works LLC

On the outer edges of Springfield, where new subdivisions are still cut into the region's red Ozark clay, KH Dirt Works knows the ground under the snow as well as the snow itself, having graded plenty of those same lots before houses ever went up on them. Karst ground here drains fast, so meltwater from an afternoon sun often refreezes hard overnight on driveways and new pavement that hasn't fully cured, and the crew treats those stretches first. KH Dirt Works clears driveways and access roads through the newer developments ringing the city, working construction-adjacent lots as readily as finished residential drives. The exposed clay shows through wherever the snow is thin, a rust-colored reminder of the ground the crew has spent plenty of daylight hours reshaping. Clearing it in winter is just the same site, worked under different conditions.
