About Affordable Lawn

Grant Beach on a May Saturday is small square yards, chain-link, and somebody's radio going two houses down. Affordable Lawn works those west-central grids the way they were laid out — one lot at a time, mowed, trimmed, edged and swept off. In the middle of a Springfield spring the grass can put on a week's growth in three days, so keeping to the schedule matters more than anything clever. The finish is simple: the cut running all one direction, the line at the sidewalk clear enough to see from the corner, no green dust left on the porch. By afternoon the whole street looks like it has had a good week.
