About Mokan Mowing & Lawn Services LLC

The Spring River runs on west out of Missouri toward Kansas, and along that line the wind hardly ever quits. Mokan Mowing & Lawn Services LLC works that country on both sides of the state line, cutting lawns that spend all of April leaning one direction under a sky that keeps changing its mind. Spring growth comes fast behind the rains, so the route runs tight and a week's delay shows in inches. Trimming around posts and porch piers, opening the edge where turf creeps onto the drive, sending the cuttings back into the grass instead of onto the concrete — small steps that add up to a yard looking settled. On a windy prairie afternoon, a squared-up lawn is a good thing to come home to.
