About D&K Land Services

In the Center Creek bottoms the sycamores let go of their broad leaves before anything else has thought about turning. D&K Land Services spends those weeks moving yard to yard around Spring River, mowing the last hard growth of the year and pulling the drifts off the grass and out of the fencerows. Autumn light comes in low and yellow through the walnut trees, and a lawn that has been cleared reads twice as wide as one that hasn't. The job is mowing, trimming, edging and hauling the season away, which shows most on a Saturday when a family walks back out onto their own yard. By the first hard frost the ground is put away tidy.
