About Spencer Lawn and Landscape

Spencer Creek in April is all new sycamore leaf and cold water over gravel, and the yards along the bottomland green up faster than anywhere on the hill. Spencer Lawn and Landscape follows that green as it comes — first cuts of the year, trimming back what the winter left ragged, mulch laid fresh in the beds while the ground is still damp enough to work easily. Up on the ridges the grass takes its own time, so the route runs long and the mower meets each yard when it is actually ready. Summer settles into a steady rhythm of mowing and edging; autumn turns it back into hauling and clearing. Creek bottom or hilltop, the aim is the same: a place that looks cared for from the road.
