About Bilyeu Lawncare Plus

On summer mornings the fog settles low in the Bull Creek hollows below Sparta and lifts about the time the first deck starts turning. Bilyeu Lawncare Plus keeps the yards along Highway 14 and the gravel lanes that branch off it, where fescue runs thick under oak and hickory and thins wherever the chert comes close to the surface. The work is mowing, string-trimming, and edging along the walks and drives, then the blow-down that turns a cut lawn into a finished one. When the hickories let go in fall, the route becomes leaves and the long tidy-up before the first hard freeze. Ordinary work, done with attention, on a plateau that has its own opinions about grass.
