About Marvin Tree and Lawn Services

Old oaks and hackberries shade half the yards on these hillsides, and grass grown in that dappled light asks to be handled with some patience. Marvin Tree and Lawn Services mows South Sugar Creek's shaded lots on a steady rotation, keeping the cut height right, the trimming close around trunks and surface roots, the beds given a defined edge. Late summer, wind comes up the river valley and moves through the canopy all afternoon while the work goes on underneath. Clippings get blown off drives and porches; leaf litter gets pulled out of the corners where it likes to gather. The result is a yard that looks kept, even under a hundred years of tree.
