LaBrier’s Lawncare

About LaBrier’s Lawncare

The creek that gave this town its name still threads its wooded cut below the houses, and on a July evening the air down there stays green and heavy long after supper. LaBrier's Lawncare works South Sugar Creek in that last good stretch of daylight, when the heat lets go and grass cuts clean instead of tearing. Weekly mowing, string trimming around fences and foundations, edges pulled straight, every walk swept clear before the truck rolls. Fireflies come up out of the fresh cut like the yard is exhaling. A lawn finished at dusk has a particular quiet to it, and that is the part worth doing well.
