Steve’s Lawn Care

About Steve’s Lawn Care

On a still evening in July, fireflies come up out of the bottomland grass like the field is exhaling. Steve's Lawn Care is often out just ahead of that, finishing a mow while the light is still good and the ground has dried from the afternoon. Around Shoal Creek the humidity makes grass rebound almost overnight, so the cut has to be steady and the trimming has to reach every corner a mower cannot. Blown clean and cut to a straight border, the yard sits quiet and level as the heat finally lets go. It is a good thing to drive past on the way home.
