About Kiesler’s Hanydman Service

Worth County rolls out in long low hills right up to the Iowa line, and Sheridan sits in the middle of that farmland with a square small enough to walk across in a couple of minutes, even in January. Kiesler's Handyman Service takes care of the odd jobs that keep a small town running, and snow is one more thing on that list come winter, clearing walks around the square and driveways out along the farm lanes that spread from town in every direction. Wind off those open hills doesn't have much to slow it down, so drifts pile up against fence lines and porches alike, deeper than the snowfall alone would suggest. A farmhouse drive out past the edge of town might need clearing twice in one storm where a sheltered lot near the square needs it only once. There's a straightforward kind of usefulness in being the one who shows up early enough that the walk to the post office or the drive out to the barn is already done.
