Leafty’s Lawn Care

About Leafty’s Lawn Care

October changes the assignment. The maples on Sedalia's older streets let go all at once, the oaks hold out until the first hard wind, and by the third week every yard in town is wearing a foot of somebody else's tree. Leafty's Lawn Care shows up for that season with as much enthusiasm as for June: leaves cleared off the turf, out of the beds, off the walks, hauled away so the grass can breathe into winter. The mowing and trimming carry the warm months, but autumn is where the name earns itself. There is something deeply satisfying about a lawn that goes into November clean, green underneath, and ready for whatever the sky decides to do next.
