Allen & Russell Hauling

About Allen & Russell Hauling

By October the light in Chariton County lies long and low across cut fields, and Salisbury yards fill with everything the season sheds. Allen & Russell Hauling mows and trims, then loads what is left — leaves, limbs, brush piles, the tangle behind the shed — and carries it off so a yard is simply a yard again. Cleared ground has a plain beauty to it in north Missouri, where you can see a long way once the clutter is gone. Spring runs the same in reverse: knock the winter mess down, get the mower back on a regular round, and let the grass do the rest. Salisbury and the small towns spread around it get the whole of it, hauling included.
