About Stief's Wood Products and Landscaping

Fog comes off the Mississippi early in Saint Mary and hangs in the bottoms until the sun finally clears the limestone bluffs. Stief's Wood Products and Landscaping works those hours, mowing and edging and shaping the beds while the grass still holds the night's damp. Along the Highway 61 corridor the yards run long and open, and a clean line where turf meets gravel reads from the road like a signature. Fall brings cottonwood leaves down by the bushel, and clearing a lawn of them before the first hard freeze is its own kind of satisfaction. This is lawn care and landscaping for Saint Mary and the river towns around it, done the way river country asks for it: patiently, and all the way out to the fence line.
