Mccormick Lawn & Snow Removal

About Mccormick Lawn & Snow Removal

Saint Joseph sits up on bluffs above the Missouri River, and the neighborhoods that climb those hills, the streets everyone here just calls the Hill, get a different kind of winter than the flatter blocks down near the water. Fog off the river holds in the low ground while the ridge streets catch the wind first, and Mccormick Lawn & Snow Removal has learned to read which side of town needs the plow before the other. Driveways up here often sit at an angle steep enough to notice, and clearing one clean, corner to corner, before the morning commute starts down into downtown is the whole job. There's a certain pride in being the reason a hillside street is passable while the fog is still burning off the river below. Snow that would sit and ice over on a north-facing drive gets pushed clear early, so by the time Saint Joseph is fully awake, the hard part is already done.
