It's a different scale of job — acres instead of yards, painted lines to find again under a fresh inch, loading docks that need to be open before the first delivery truck arrives. The work has to be finished early and finished completely, since a shopping district doesn't get a second chance at a first customer on a snowy Saturday. There's a kind of order to a lot cleared right: rows straight, curb lines visible, snow pushed to the corners where it won't melt back across a walkway by noon.
