About Campbells Lawncare

Fog pools in the hollows around Rolla on October mornings and burns off about the time the first yard is finished. Campbells Lawncare is out in it, headlights on the county blacktop, tailgate down. Autumn here is leaf work — oak and hickory come down slow and heavy, and a lawn left buried goes into winter matted. So the blowers run, the leaves get pulled off the turf, and the last cuts of the year go on short and even. By the first hard frost the grass is clear, the walks are swept, and the place is ready to rest.
