About JRS LAWNCARE, SNOW & ICE REMOVAL LLC

River View earns its name honestly — the bluffs here drop straight down to the Missouri River, and on a cold, clear morning JRS Lawncare, Snow & Ice Removal LLC can watch the fog lift off the water from a driveway three hundred feet above it. Ice behaves differently on a bluff-top street than it does down in the flats: the wind off the river channel keeps some stretches scoured clear and packs others into a hard, dark sheet that needs salt before a blade ever touches it. The crew learns each block that way, by feel and by watching where the melt refreezes overnight. It's quiet work up here, just the river below and the plow's own sound, but it's exactly the kind of care a bluff-top street needs in January. A driveway cleared up here means one more car eases out toward the highway without incident, the river still fogged in far below.
