Dewey's Tree Service

About Dewey's Tree Service

The hills around Richwoods have been worked before — lead country, dug over long ago and then handed back to the oaks and hickories that come up out of rocky ground anyway. Hollows run every direction here, so a tree beside a Washington County house is often the only thing standing between the roof and a hard afternoon. Dewey's Tree Service takes down the ones gone hollow or dangerous, trims what leans over a house or a gravel lane, and prunes for balance so a crown handles wind instead of fighting it. When the weather makes a mess, storm damage cleanup gets the drive open and the debris off, right down to a clean-raked yard. Anyone who has walked one of those hollows at dusk knows why the trees are worth keeping right.
