Frankie's tree trimming

About Frankie's tree trimming

By midsummer the oak and hickory woods around Richland are at their fullest, and in these Ozark hills those trees grow right up against homes, sheds and driveways. Frankie's tree trimming keeps that growth in check, cutting back the limbs that crowd a roof or droop over a drive and tending the lawns that lie in their shade. Summer storms sweep through this country with real force, and a tree with its weight in balance stands up to the wind far better than an overgrown one. There is genuine craft in choosing which branch to take and which to leave. When the job is finished and the brush is cleared, sunlight reaches the grass again and the whole yard opens up.
