Summer storms reach Raytown from the west, stacking up over the Kansas line before they cross 350 Highway with a wall of warm rain. MD's Lawn works around that weather the way everyone here learns to — reading the sky, getting the mowing in while the grass is dry, coming back for the trimming once the ground firms up. After a good soaking the fescue jumps, and there is real pleasure in bringing an overgrown yard back to an even, deliberate green in a single afternoon. Edges come out clean along walks and beds, and clippings get cleared instead of left in windrows across the lawn. It is lawn care for Raytown and the neighboring stretches of Kansas City, Lee's Summit and Blue Springs.
