Aubrey Hills Lawn

About Aubrey Hills Lawn

Raytown's oldest streets run under oaks that were saplings when the ranch houses went up, and the shade they throw makes a lawn something worth working for. Aubrey Hills Lawn keeps to lawn care here — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the clippings so a yard looks finished rather than merely cut. There is a particular satisfaction in the first pass of the morning, dew still silvering the fescue and the mower line laid straight down a sloping front yard. By the time the heat comes up off Raytown Road the work is behind them and the edges stand crisp against the driveway. Neighbors over in Independence, Grandview and the Kansas City side get the same attention.
