About Monumental Outdoor

Out at the edge of Raymore, where the subdivisions give way to five-acre lots and the sky opens up over what used to be Cass County pasture, Monumental Outdoor clears the long driveways that wind back from the road to the house. These aren't quick jobs — a quarter-mile of gravel or asphalt takes patience, and patience is what a big Missouri sky teaches you on a January morning when the light comes up slow and gray. The crew reads each property before the first pass: where the drifts pile against a fence line, where the drive dips and holds ice longer than the rest. Getting it right means a homeowner can back out of the garage at 6 a.m. without a second thought. Out here, the measure of a good morning is distance covered clean, nothing more.
