About Cochran Lawn and Shrub LLC

October is the month Raymore gives itself away: sycamores along the creek go bone-pale, oaks hang on rust-colored and stubborn, and everything the wind touches ends up in somebody's turf. Cochran Lawn and Shrub LLC works the season's last cuts with leaves still coming down — mowing, trimming close around beds and foundations, edging the walks, then clearing the yard down to bare, even ground. A late-fall lawn cut short and swept out goes into winter looking deliberate rather than abandoned. Come the gray months, that is the yard on the street that still looks tended. A small thing to be particular about, and worth being particular about.
