About Personalized Landscaping

Morning comes in slow over the bottomland at Portage Des Sioux — river fog off the Mississippi, cottonwoods dripping, a barge horn somewhere out past the levee. Personalized Landscaping mows, trims and edges the yards of this river village, cutting until the grass reads clean against all that wide water country. The soil down here grows things in a hurry, and there is real satisfaction in leaving a straight stripe running toward the channel while the statue at Our Lady of the Rivers keeps her watch. Walks get blown off, borders get cut to a hard line, and the yard looks like somebody meant it. Whether it is the rush of June or the long green stretch of October, the job is the same: show up, cut it right, leave it better than the fog found it.
