About Smith’s Property Services

Poplar Bluff sits on a rise above the Black River, and on a June morning the river's damp breath drifts up into yards all over town. Smith's Property Services works that ground as a lawn care business, mowing, trimming and tidying properties across Poplar Bluff. Summers in Butler County run long and humid, and the grass surges after every thunderstorm, so keeping pace with it is the heart of the job. There is real satisfaction in a freshly cut lawn with clean lines along the walk and the clippings swept off the drive. When the heat finally breaks in October, that same care carries on into leaf season and the last cuts of the year.
