About Garden Josiah

There's a promise in the very name Pleasant Hill, and in April the town keeps it, with blossoms opening on the ornamental trees and gardens waking up yard by yard. Garden Josiah tends that waking, caring for lawns and the green spaces around a home so they grow in full and even. Spring work is patient work: a lawn coaxed back from winter, a garden bed readied for what comes next. There is real joy in watching a yard fill in week by week until it looks the way its owners always pictured. Here on the southeastern edge of the Kansas City area, that slow unfolding is the season's gift.
