About Grateful Lawn Care

Late August on the Elk River is canoes, gravel bars and bluffs the color of old bone, and up the hill the Pineville square goes quiet in the heat. Grateful Lawn Care runs the mowing through that season — cutting week in and week out, trimming along stone walls and porch piers, edging the walks, clearing clippings off the drive. McDonald County grass keeps going well past the point a person would like it to, and staying on schedule is most of the trick. There is something settling about a shaded Ozark yard cut even, borders true, nothing left on the concrete. It looks like the house is being looked after, because it is.
