Back Forty Lawn Co.

About Back Forty Lawn Co.

Piedmont sits where the Ozark hills start to gather themselves, the Black River sliding down toward Clearwater Lake and the national forest standing dark on the ridges. Spring arrives here in redbud and dogwood, and right behind it comes grass that will not quit until October. Back Forty Lawn Co. keeps up with it — mowing, string trimming around rock, root flare and fence post, edging walks and drives, blowing the cuttings clear. Wayne County yards are rarely flat and almost never square, which makes a well-cut one that much more satisfying to stand back and look at. Hill ground, cut clean, holds a line better than you would expect.
