About Taft Turf Management Inc.

Missouri sits in the transition zone, where cool-season fescue and warm-season grass argue with each other all summer, and reading which one is winning is most of the trade. Taft Turf Management Inc. mows to that, adjusting height and timing as the season leans one way or the other, trimming and edging so the boundaries stay honest. Early morning is the hour for it — dew still silver on the blades, the mower laying down light and dark bands behind it. By nine the dew has lifted and the stripes are set for the week. There is nothing complicated about wanting a lawn to look that even; it takes showing up when the grass is ready.
