About Midlands Maintenance LLC

By the time the evening rush thins out on I-55 near Oakville, Midlands Maintenance LLC is turning into the subdivisions that fill the flatter ground back from the river bluffs, working driveway after driveway while porch lights click on one by one. These newer streets sit far enough from the Mississippi that the snow falls straighter and piles deeper before it lets up, and the crew works methodically, block by block, rather than chasing the heaviest drifts first. Salt goes down along the mailbox aprons and the foot of each driveway, the spots where cars have to stop and tires need the extra grip. Sidewalks get squared off edge to edge, not just a single shovel-width path down the middle. By the next morning's commute, the whole street reads as one clean line of gray pavement against the white yards on either side.
