Moscow Mills carries its old mill-town name into a landscape of rolling Lincoln County hills, creek bottoms, and the kind of two-lane roads that ice up in the shaded curves long before the open stretches do. Green Elements works those hills through the summer keeping yards and beds in shape, and when the cold sets in the same crew starts running those same curving roads with a plow blade instead, clearing driveways tucked back off the county roads. Snow here tends to linger longest where the hills throw the longest shadow, and the crew has learned which driveways need a second pass by afternoon because the sun never quite reaches them. What's left after a morning's work is simple: gravel or blacktop showing through, salt down on the shaded spots, a clear run from the road to the front door. It's the same hill country, the same attention, just working against ice instead of overgrowth.
