About Busselman Landscape Co.

The first warm week in Monett turns the roadsides purple with redbud and white with dogwood, and right behind that comes the first mow of the year. Busselman Landscape Co. opens the season there, taking the winter mat off a yard, shaping the edges again, clearing the beds and walks of what the cold left behind. From then on it is weekly mowing, trimming and edging until the leaves come down in the fall. Spring grass in southwest Missouri grows faster than anyone plans for, so the calendar matters more than ambition. There is real pleasure in that first cut, when a tired yard suddenly looks awake.
