About Pike Contracting LLC

Pike Contracting runs the kind of equipment that doesn't mind rough ground, and along the Missouri River that's most of it — gravel roads that turn to washboard ice, low spots that fog over white before the rest of the valley does. When a storm moves through overnight, the crew is out before first light, headlights cutting through river mist that hasn't decided yet whether to lift. Contracting work here means being ready for whatever the ground needs, and in January that's a plow blade instead of a grader, clearing drives and lots down to pavement or gravel, whichever is underneath. The river valley holds its own weather, colder in the low ground than the ridges a few miles off, and Pike's routes are built around knowing which stretches freeze first. What's left after a pass is simple and plain: a road you can drive without thinking about it.
