About Turf Masters Lawn Services

East of Maryville the blacktop runs out to Mozingo Lake, and on a July afternoon the water goes flat silver while the fescue back in town stands up thick and thirsty. Turf Masters Lawn Services keeps that grass in hand with weekly mowing, string trimming along fences and foundations, edging where the turf wants to creep onto the concrete, and the clippings blown off the drive before the truck pulls away. Northwest Missouri hands a lawn everything at once — heavy June rain, then heat that presses down for weeks — and reading which of those a yard is living through is most of the craft. Blade height, timing and one more slow pass at the corners do the rest. What is left at the end of a route is a street of yards sitting level and even, the way the hills around town never quite do.
