RJ's Landscaping And Lawn Care

About RJ's Landscaping And Lawn Care

Old Route 66 still runs its patched concrete beside the interstate outside Marshfield East, and the yards along it have been mown by somebody every summer for as long as there has been a road there. RJ's Landscaping And Lawn Care takes its turn at that, starting early while traffic on I-44 is only a distant sound and the grass is heavy with dew. The work is mowing, trimming around the posts and the mailboxes, cutting the edges back where turf has crept over the walk, and hauling the clippings away. Small things, repeated, are what keep a place from looking left behind. By the time the sun is high the yard is finished and the truck is a mile down the old alignment, headed for the next one.
