About Graham Lawncare LLC

October arrives in Webster County all at once — oaks going rust and copper, the courthouse square emptying by five, leaves skating along the sidewalks with a sound like paper. Graham Lawncare LLC spends that stretch of the year mowing the last flushes of growth and clearing what the wind keeps delivering, week after week, until the yards are bare and clean. Grass grows differently on this high ground than it does down in the valleys, and the final cuts of autumn are the ones that decide how a lawn looks come April. There is something plain and satisfying about a raked, mown yard under a low Ozark sun, the same light that falls on the telescope model out on the courthouse lawn. Then the season closes, and the mower waits.
