About C. Taylor Contracting

The Loutre River cuts a quiet valley through this stretch of Missouri's river hills, limestone bluffs rising on either side of water that runs low and dark under a skin of winter ice. C. Taylor Contracting works the driveways and roads along that valley, plowing the switchback grades where the bluff country turns even a short driveway into a matter of careful angles. Fog collects in the valley bottom on cold mornings long after the ridgetops have cleared, and the crew often starts its work inside that fog before the sun ever burns it away. There's a real satisfaction in a driveway scraped clean against a limestone bluff backdrop, the kind of view that makes the work feel like less of a chore than it is. By the time the valley fog lifts, the roads through Loutre are already passable.
