Patton Lawn Service

About Patton Lawn Service

Before sunrise everything north of the river is one gray color, with the Kansas City skyline no more than a suggestion off to the southwest. Patton Lawn Service is already loaded by then, because the first hours are the best hours to be behind a mower in a Missouri summer. Dew turns the opening pass into a dark track across the lawn, and by the time the sun clears the trees the cut is set and the trimming has begun. Edging squares the drive back up, the walks get blown off, and the yard is done before the heat becomes an argument. It is a plain kind of pride, done early and quietly: a Liberty street of lawns all standing straight while the rest of the day is still getting started.
