About Historic Lawncare

A few Liberty streets still run beneath iron fences and deep porches, past houses that have watched a hundred springs come up the block. Historic Lawncare takes the first cut of the year on lots like those, where the yard is small, the plantings are old, and nothing about the ground is square. The work is careful by necessity — mowing tight around stone borders and root flares, trimming by hand where a machine has no business going. Edging brings the walk back out from under the grass that has been creeping over it since last May, and the cleanup leaves the porch steps clear. When a place has been standing that long, the least you can do is let it be seen properly from the street.
