Elite Lawn & Landscape

About Elite Lawn & Landscape

Seen from the college hill, the older half of Liberty is one long canopy of oak and maple — and in the last week of October that canopy comes down nearly all at once. Elite Lawn & Landscape spends the fall on the ground beneath it, clearing leaves off turf that would otherwise smother under a wet mat by Thanksgiving. The mowing keeps going late into the year here, shorter and shorter, until the grass finally decides it has had enough. Beds get cleared, walks get blown off, and the corners where leaves always drift are taken down to green again. There is a particular satisfaction in a yard that looks open and cared for on a gray November afternoon, with the trees bare and the light coming all the way to the house.
