About Decker Lawn LLC

The Liberty square wakes slowly: brick storefronts still in shadow, awnings dripping from the night, the courthouse holding the middle of everything while the streets warm. Decker Lawn LLC works the yards that spoke out from that center, block by block, where lots are narrow and old sidewalks wander a little off true. On ground like that the mowing has to be patient — around stone steps, around a lilac someone's grandmother planted, around the tree roots that have won their argument with the concrete. Trimming and edging bring the lines back to something deliberate, and the cleanup afterward is what makes the difference from the sidewalk. It is ordinary work done attentively, on a town that has always kept its front yards facing the street.
