About Melgar’s Lawn Care LLC

Late June, the sun drops behind the bluff and the whole bottom fills with long gold light; fireflies rise out of the grass right about the time the last yard is finished. Melgar’s Lawn Care LLC works the cooler end-of-day hours in Lewis and Clark, cutting, walking the trimmer along fence lines and porch steps, edging drives and walks, and clearing the cuttings behind. Grass mowed in the evening holds its color better through a hot week. The lines stay straight because straight is how the eye reads a yard from the street. It is a plain kind of good, driving home past a row of lawns you left even.
