Best of Lawn Care

About Best of Lawn Care

By mid-morning in early June, a Union Pacific freight has already rumbled through downtown Lee's Summit, its horn carrying past the brick storefronts on Main Street and out over the neighborhoods beyond. Best of Lawn Care works to that rail-town clock, mowing yards while the air is still mild and the dew is just lifting off the blades. Fence lines are trimmed close, sidewalks are edged into one straight dark seam, and clippings are blown off the concrete so the front walk looks freshly swept. This town grew up alongside the tracks, and there is something fitting about lawns kept on a timetable of their own. When the next train sounds, a yard here can already look complete.
