About Poor Boy Lawn & Landscaping

When a May thunderstorm moves off east and the clouds break over Lebanon, the grass all but leaps an inch by morning, steaming in the sun while the trucks hum along I-44. Poor Boy Lawn & Landscaping keeps pace with that spring surge in town yards — mower, trimmer and edger in hand — and takes on the landscaping that turns a plain lot into somewhere to sit a spell. The work is plain-spoken and careful: wet clippings cleared away, beds tidied, a firm line cut where the grass meets the walk. Rolling up to a shaggy yard after a week of rain and leaving it shorn and tidy by suppertime never gets old. Here in Laclede County, sweat and a sharp edge do the talking.
