Aaron Lawn Service

About Aaron Lawn Service

Kearney wakes slowly on the rolling ground north of the Missouri River, dew silvering the fescue before the sun clears the treeline. Aaron Lawn Service starts there, in that first cool hour, when a mower's pass leaves a dark stripe behind it and the air still smells like night. Mowing, trimming and edging are the whole of the work, and the whole of the work is doing it so a yard looks settled and cared for by the time anyone steps out for the paper. Grass here grows hard through May and asks for patience in August, and both moods get the same steady attention. By afternoon the truck is somewhere out toward Holt or Excelsior Springs, and another lawn behind it is holding its lines.
